Verify/update Java location in install.cfg file

If you need to install an updated version of Java JDK, you might to install it in a different directory from the original installation.

This procedure verifies where Infor Lawson expects to find Java. If the location is not correct for your updated/current installation, you will need to change it.

  1. Open $LAWDIR/system/install.cfg in an editor.
  2. Verify locations as specified by these variables:

    • JAVA_HOME

    • LAW_JAVA_HOME

    • LAW_JAVA_BIN

  3. If the locations are not correct, update them.
