Check permissions for the users running the Infor System Console installation and the Infor System Console WebSphere instance

  1. Navigate to $LAWDIR /system.
  2. Check the permissions on the Infor Lawson System Foundation install.cfg file in this directory.

    The permissions for the install.cfg file should be read-only for the "others" class (for example, permissions could be set to 444). You can revert the permissions after you finish the Infor System Console installation.
