Viewing Alert History Data

On the History, you can view and manage the alert history data. There are three types of history data:

  • Generic: This includes generic, status-based, and threshold-based alert data.
  • Status-based: This includes alert data based on whether a service is on or off. The grid shows only the services in an off state.
  • Threshold-based: This includes alert data from threshold trigger alerts.

When viewing the data, you can reload the data or you can load the current day's data.

You can also delete individual instances of alert history as well as the instances from a range of dates.

  1. Select Alerts & Notifications > History.
  2. In the left pane, select the type of alert history data you want to view.
  3. If you want to delete alert history data instances, select the check box for the instance and click Delete, or click the small triangle next to the Delete button, select Delete by Date Range, enter start and end dates, and then click Delete.
