Synchronization
An important job of the federation wizard is synchronizing systems that make up the federation.
When you perform a synchronization, you determine if conflicts exist between the systems being federated. Conflicts occur when one of the systems has the same record (for example, the same security role name exists on both systems). A wizard walks you through the process of resolving identified conflicts.
The wizard groups conflicts by type of data (security roles, actors/users, system service names and so on). The sub-sections that follow describe the choices that the wizard presents to you when it encounters conflicts for each type of data.
