Securing Security

As delivered, Lawson Security provides a single security administrator with complete access to the system. Your site might need to create additional security administrators, including those who do not have full access to the system. This would be especially true in large installations where, for example, some administrators might be responsible for adding users to the system but could not create rules. Or, some administrators might be able to write rules but cannot create other administrators.

This chapter describes various ways you might choose to implement hierarchical levels of security management at your site.
