Copying jobs

You can use the Multi-step Job Definition form to copy jobs to another user. If you receive a copied job, you must run the job using the Multi-Step Job Definition utility. You cannot run a copied job as an ordinary single-step job.

  1. Go to Multi-Step Job Definition. You can access this form through the Multi-Step Job Definition link from the Related Forms menu available on the Job Schedule, Print Manager, and Job List forms.
  2. Specify the name of the existing multi-job to be copied in Job Name.
  3. Click Inquire.
  4. In the User Name field, specify the name of the user who is going to receive the copied job.
  5. Click Add.
