Widgets Dashboard

The Widgets Dashboard contains the widgets that display a quick summary of a Job Report. These Job Reports are generated from their respective batch forms. When adding a widget to the dashboard, you must already have a Job Report or create a new one to be used as a reference. You can specify the type of widget to be used, the owner of the job to be used in the chart, and the name of the job from which you are getting the report. You can also edit the filter fields on the dashboard to change the data displayed on the widgets.

These are the types of reports that can generate as a widget:

  • The Trial Balance widget provides a snapshot of account balances of the general ledger accounts of a company as of a specified date range in column chart view. This widget displays information from the Job Report generated when you run GL291 Trial Balance form. The title of the widget shows the Company the report belongs to. The x-axis shows the Account Number, and the y-axis shows the Amount. The grouped bar represents the Beginning, Ending, and Posted Balance. The chart gives you a quick view on the changes in the account balances for a selected account or group of accounts as of a certain time.
  • The Overdue Invoice widget provides the total amount payable to a vendor and past due amounts per aging dates, based on the invoice due date or discount date. This widget displays information from the Job Report generated when you run AP250 Cash Forecasting form. The title of the widget shows the vendor code and name, and the amount total which represents the sum of the invoice balances on all the periods for the specific vendor. The information displayed from the arcs in the chart helps determine the amount from invoices that are overdue for payment per period and forecast cash requirement needs to pay those overdue invoices.
  • The Open Invoice widget provides the summary of the top 10 Accounts Payable (AP) specialists who processed the most number of invoices for a company in a specific date range. The summary is plotted on a bar graph and each bar shows the total number of unmatched and unreleased, matched and released, and canceled invoices per specialist. The y-axis of the bar graph represents the AP specialists and the x-axis is the total number of invoices. To display the total values per invoice, move the pointer over the colored bars from any of the specialists. You can also view the detailed breakdown using a pie chart by right-clicking on the colored bars. The pie chart shows the partition of the selected invoice.
