Default Code

Default codes are used for each document that is used in the output files.

This table shows the available default codes for India eTransport:

Option	Notes
Transportation Mode	Use this option to specify how goods move from the consignor to the consignee for shipment and e‑Way Bill purposes: Air – Goods are transported by air using cargo or passenger aircraft. Rail – Goods are transported through Indian Railways using freight trains. Road – Goods are transported by road using vehicles such as trucks, lorries, or vans. Ship – Goods are transported by sea or inland waterways using ships or vessels.
Vehicle	Use this option to specify the category of vehicle used to transport goods for shipment and e‑Way Bill purposes: Overweight – Vehicle carrying goods that exceed the permissible weight limits under applicable GST and transport regulations. Regular – Standard vehicle operating within the permissible weight limits defined under applicable GST and transport regulations.
Empty Location Name	Use this option to control whether the location name is displayed in the output.
