Uploading a sample CII XML file

When configuring Output Extensibility for Cross Industry Invoice services, you must first upload a sample XML file.

  1. Select Settings, then select your accounting entity from the list.
  2. Select Output Extensibility.
  3. Click the upper ADD button.
  4. Select eInvoicing for the Service Type, and Cross Industry Invoice for the Output Type.

    After selecting CII, the Upload button is displayed

    Note: The uploaded CII output is used to extract the XPath. All the tags in the uploaded output is extracted and displayed in the target XPath destination. You can update this by uploading another output.
  5. In the Setting up XSLT Transformation field, click the UPLOAD button and select a sample CII-format XML file.
  6. Select the XPATH from the uploaded XML file from the list in the Target XPATH Destination.
