Document list

On the Tax Reporting page, the document list shows the submitted VAT returns. This table shows the available column headers for UK Tax Reporting.

Column name Description
Period From The start date that is set by the user during output generation
Period to The end date that is set by the user during output generation
Submitted Date The date when the report was submitted to the tax authority
HMRC ID The value of formBundleNumber generated after a successful submission of the VAT Return to the tax authority
Charge Ref Number The value of chargeRefNumber generated after a successful submission of the VAT Return to the tax authority
Liability The value of the netVATDue (Box 5) amount of the VAT return

The value of Liability adheres to these rules:

  • If the value is positive, the value represents Net VAT due for the period. The totalVatDue (Box 3) is greater than vatReclaimedCurrPeriod (Box 4).
  • If the value is negative, the value represents Net VAT reclaimed for the period. The vatReclaimedCurrPeriod (Box 4) is greater than totalVatDue (Box 3).
