Setting up the XSLT Instruction

These are the steps if you selected Insert or Modify from the XSLT Instruction field:
Note: Selecting Insert displays the Insert To New Block option.

Selecting this option creates a new block or array where the tag is inserted. Leaving this option blank adds the tag to an existing block or array. No changes are made if there are no existing blocks or arrays.

  1. In the Data Source field, specify this information:
    Field Description
Static In the Value field, specify a fixed text to be used in transforming data at the target XPath destination.
Supplementary Data User Defined Fields In the User Defined Fields, specify the field name to reference customer-specific elements in the Supplementary Data Block.
Note: To create or update this element, see Supplementary Data.
BOD In the BOD Path field, select the document source path that points to the specific data within the BOD.

In the BOD User Area Attribute field, specify the attribute value for the UserArea element.

  2. Click the lower Add.
  3. Click SAVE. The Output Extensibility window is displayed.
  4. In the Output Extensibility window, specify this information:
    Field Description
Supplementary Data Name Specify a unique name for your XSLT template. It is available in the Supplementary Data form after saving
Customer ID Specify a Customer ID where the XSLT will be applied
  5. Click Save.
Note: If a tag is a parent tag, its position might be incorrect because XSLT requires specific instructions to determine the correct hierarchical position.
