Sending VAT Returns to HMRC

The main Making Tax Digital function runs in LSP and the communication with the tax authorities or HMRC is through Web Services Gateway.

As part of the accreditation with the MTD web service for this connector, a review and accreditation program was coordinated with HMRC.

Perform these steps to identify Infor as the software provider and to authorize Infor to act on your behalf.

These authorization tests must be performed twice, once for your test user and once for your live user or the registered company.

Note: A token is only active for 18 months before it is refreshed. We recommend that you add a reminder in your calendar for the 18 months effective date.

In addition to authorizing the software, you must independently register with HMRC. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation notification through email. This takes up to 72 hours after the initial registration. You will not be able to submit a return in production until you have received this confirmation.
