Solution overview

This chapter discusses the different functions of LSP and the compliance solution for each country's requirement.

LSP helps you meet the local regulatory, statutory, and cultural requirements of a country. It is an extensible Mongoose application that can connect to any ERP through standard Infor BODs. The data is then prepared for reporting within the service, where you can check and confirm what you can send to the external agency prior to submission. The submission is then tracked and logged for audit purposes with any responses that the ERP may require to be sent back.

The function within LSP are placed into these categories:

Tax Reporting
Statutory Reporting

Note: To ensure that a particular function is supported by your ERP, refer to their integration documentation.

ERP adoption

Note: The electronic messages and reports that are delivered by the Infor Localization Services cannot be used in isolation from an ERP. The ERP must publish or subscribe to the relevant BODs and be accredited to that particular function.

Use your ERP's documentation to find out which functions are supported. The information in the Localization Services documentation set should only be used when guided by your ERP.
