Electronic Sales Invoicing

Tax registrants are required to produce electronic invoices in either XML or JSON format and electronically authenticate them through the use of an HSM or USB token. Additionally, every invoice includes a unique UUID number, which is assigned by the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) and is essential for modifying documents like credit or debit notes. Upon approval, both the issuer and recipient will receive notifications. After integrating with the Egyptian system, they retrieve and securely store the electronic invoices for potential tax audits.

Connectivity to EDIWIN for the registration of invoices is provided through the Web Services Gateway.
