Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Cause: Unable to log in to LSP and the screen only shows the configuration dropdown with error message: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

Resolution: Set the Objects DB specification:
  1. Go to the LSP configuration manager.
  2. Select the configuration.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In Objects Metadata tab, click Set Objects DB Specification.
  5. Click OK.

    If an error occurs, verify that the database details are correct.

  6. Click OK in the confirmation message.
  7. Click OK.
