CSV Mapping

You can map available CSV files that contains information extracted from your system of records and upload them in the platform.

Note: This option should only be used if you are using this function without Infor OS and BODs.

See Appendix B for sample files and mappings.

These transactions are available for CSV mapping and uploading: Trial Balance, Chart of Accounts, and Journal Transactions.

  1. In the accordion panel on the left, click Settings.
  2. Select Mexico from the Accounting Entity list, then click CSV Mapping: Chart of Accounts, CSV Mapping: Journal Transactions or SCV Mapping: Trial Balance.
  3. To add the default fields, click ADD DEFAULT.
  4. Click MODIFY.
  5. To add a field:
    1. Click ADD FIELD to add a new row to the table.
    2. For Trial Balance and Chart of Accounts, specify this information in the new row:
      Field
      Specify a name for the new field or select an option from the list in the Field column.
    3. For Journal Transactions, specify this information in the new row:
      Transaction
      Select an option from the list in the Transaction column.
      Field
      Specify a name for the new field or select an option from the list in the Field column.

      The list of available fields in the Field column is based on the selected transaction.

  6. To edit a field:
    1. Click a field in the Field column.
    2. Specify a name for the new field or select an option from the list.
  7. To upload CSV file to be used in mapping:
    1. Click LOAD CSV.
    2. Drag and drop the file or click Select File and browse for the file.
      Click Upload.

      The column headers of the CSV file will be the options under the Mapped to column.

    3. Click OK.
  8. To map fields:
    1. Click a cell in the Mapped to column.
    2. Specify a name for the new field or select an option from the list.
    Note: The Mapped to fields should not have double quotation marks around them. If this happens, revise the Mapped to fields and remove the double quotation marks. For example, "Account" should be revised to Account.
  9. To add rules:
    1. Select a field to which to add rules.
    2. Click ADD RULES.
    3. Select Concatenate or Translate Values and click OK.
    4. For Concatenate, specify this information:
      Separator
      Specify the character used to concatenate the values.
      CSV Header
      Select a mapped field from the list.

      You can specify up to five values for CSV Header.

    5. For Translate Values, specify these fields:
      Is equal to
      Specify a value that is equal to the selected field's value.
      Translate to
      Specify a translation for the value in the Is equal field.

      You can specify up to five pairs for Is equal to and Translate.

    6. Click OK.
  10. Click SAVE.
