GL Transaction Report

The GL Transaction Report provides a summary or detailed view of transactions for specific accounts. It shows the opening balance, ending balance, and all of the transactions for the period organized by account.

The purpose of the GL Transaction Report is to list the transactions posted to the accounting ledgers and to show the detail which makes up the totals and balances in the selected accounting periods. The supplied report consists of three formats to meet different reporting requirements. The default for all report formats is reporting the actual financial ledger, but reporting can also be done on financial data from other accounting books, ledgers, and budgets. It is possible to report data from selected accounts or reports. Reporting can be done either in the base currency only or in up to three currencies, side by side. A further format is designed to report user-defined analysis data.
