GEMS (ION)

The global electronic messaging services (GEMS) is an electronic messaging solution that helps customers meet the local regulatory, statutory, and cultural requirements of a country. It is a black box solution within Infor ION that automatically transforms a BOD data to a proprietary message, without needing to go through logic in LSP.

The GEMS messages can be broadly categorized into these file types:

• Bank messages
• Trade statistics
• Supplier invoices
• Tax reports
