Configure ION API Server in LSP

Before you set up the ION API in LSP, access Notepad and open the .ionapi file in that you downloaded from the authorized apps in the ION API Server. This file contains the information that is needed for the Mongoose ION API Server setup.
  1. Access the LSP application in Infor Ming.le.
  2. Select an accounting entity.
  3. In the accordion, click Settings.
  4. Select Tax Connector Setup/Connector Setup v2.
  5. Perform these steps in Tax Connector Setup (Main) form:
    1. In the Switch Connector field, select ION API and click Apply.
    2. At the prompt, click OK.
    3. In the Choose Setup field, select ION API setup. Click Open.
    For Connector Setup v2, perform these steps:
    1. In the Connector Setup form, select the message to set up and click Modify.
    2. Select ION API in the Connection Type list, and click Setup.
    3. In the ION API Setup form, select ION API Setup, and click Launch.
  6. In the ION API Setup form, click ION API Setup.
    Note: To add a new ION API Server, right-click anywhere on the form and click New.
  7. Import the .ionapi file that you have downloaded from the authorized apps in the ION API Server.

  8. In the ION API Servers form, specify this information:
    Description
    Provide a descriptive text for the ION API server that you imported.
    These fields are automatically filled upon import:
    • Server URL
    • STS URL
    • Token URL
  9. Right-click anywhere on the form and select Save.
  10. Close the form.
    You have now completed the generic set-up for ION API. The next step is to import the ION API suite according to the specific function you are configuring. See Country configurations.
