Web Services Gateway

This function allows LSP to communicate with various web services.

  1. Select Administration > Connectivity .
  2. Select Web Services Gateway.
  3. In the Web Services Gateway window, click Proxy to set up a proxy server to communicate to the web service.

    Specify the required details for these fields:

    Field Note
    Proxy Server Address Specify the address of your proxy server. For example: http://<server>:<port>
    User Name Specify the user name used to access the server. This is optional
    Password Specify the password of your user name. This is optional
    Test URL Specify the URL for proxy server testing. The default value is https://infor.com/
    Note: This feature is optional for on-premise customers who prefers to have a proxy server as their server to send and receive documents.
  4. Click Activate/Deactivate to activate or deactivate a gateway.
    Note: A confirmation message is displayed upon deactivating a gateway with documents that are currently being processed.
  5. Click Refresh to refresh the gateway list.
  6. Click Add to set up your gateway with these details:
    • Accounting Entity ID
    • Service Name
    • Output File Type
    • Connection Type
      Note: Perform the steps in Using a third-party connector if using a third-party connector.
    • Environment
      Note: Refer to the country configurations to set up additional details such as Base URL, username, and password. If your service requires a certificate or key, you must add them first in the Certificate and Key Store before using and activating it in Web Services Gateway.
  7. Click Modify to edit your gateway.
  8. Click Export to export the list into a spreadsheet.
  9. Click Filter to filter the current list.
  10. Click Delete to remove a gateway from the list.
  11. Click Settings to configure these processes:
    Background Tasks
    Shows the background tasks that are necessary for the Web Services Gateway. You can configure or disable the background tasks as necessary.
    • LCSXCConnectorProcessEssentialMethods - Automatically renew the tokens per Accounting Entity and per active default invoice setup.
    • LCSXCConnectorRecoverability - Recovers the documents that failed during the connectivity process after a certain period of time
    • LCSXCWSGatewaySetupDeactivation - Recovers the documents that failed during the integration process after a certain period of time
    • LCSXCWSGatewayAutoRecovery - Checks the web services gateway for setups that are candidates for deactivation
    Connector Recovery
    Shows the corresponding outputs for the selected country wherein you can configure how many retries for recovery, before it ultimately fails in connectivity.
    Endpoints
    You can modify here the standard endpoints provided by LSP by selecting the Country, Service, Output and Environment. After modifying, these will not be affected by any subsequent software upgrades. You can also revert to the standard endpoints by clicking the Default button if required.
    Gateway Recovery
    Shows the modules used in the gateway wherein you can configure how many retries for recovery, before it ultimately fails in the integration framework.
    Service Calls
    Shows all the service methods an output would run into wherein you can configure how many retries for a certain method before it fails.
