Contact Master

Contact Master is used in a variety of ways to hold information that may not be available in your ERP. The Position field indicates the type of data to be held. Each service may require different data, the details for which can be found in the Settings section under the relevant country.
Note: The company information is now maintained through Accounting Entity Maintenance unless required by the service.
  1. In the accordion panel on the left, click Settings.
  2. Select the Accounting Entity from the list, then click Contact Master.
  3. To create a new contact:
    1. Click ADD.
    2. Specify this information based on the service:
      Personal Information

      Specify if the contact person is Inactive, Internal, or External, then specify the title, name, position, job description, owner's percentage, or shareholder's percentage.

      Address Information

      Specify the complete address of the contact person.

      Communication Details

      Specify the complete communication details of the contact person.

    3. Click SAVE.
  4. To modify an existing contact:
    1. Select a record from the Contacts Maintenance list.
    2. Click MODIFY.
    3. Update the contact details and click SAVE.
  5. To delete a contact, select a record from the Contact Maintenance list and click DELETE.
  6. Optionally, you can add, modify, or delete an identification number of a contact record:
    1. Select a record from the Contact Maintenance list.
    2. Click Contact ID.
    3. In the Identification Numbers window, perform any of these actions:
      • Click ADD to add another identification record. Specify the identification type and identification number. Select the Default check box to display the Identification Type in the Personal Information section.

      • Select a record and click MODIFY to modify the identification details.

      • Select a record and click DEFAULT to make the selected identification number the default information.

      • Select a record and click DELETE to remove a record.

      Note: In Personal Information, the Identification Type and Identification Number fields are automatically filled.
    4. Click SAVE.
  7. Click the Close icon.
