Registering channels with SDI

Each customer must register with the Italian tax authorities to access the SDI web service and to receive communication from SdI. To receive communication, you need to communicate the endpoint addresses to SdI. After the initial setup, you must complete the interoperability registration to ensure that the two systems can communicate with each other.

Note:
The process of registering channels with SdI takes at least two weeks. This is at the discretion of the Italian government and should be considered well in advance of the setting up of LSP.

This is a summary of the processes:

  • Complete the registration form and submit to SdI
The forms require a mixture of technical and company information, including:
    • Your tax registration details
    • Two endpoints, one for the transmission service and the other for the reception service, for both your test and production environment. For example, 4 different endpoints in total.
  • Run through the interoperability registration
  • Apply for your test system to become live
Note:
Although public administration invoices are required for the interoperability test, they are not supported by LSP after test completion.
