Accounting Entity Maintenance

Use this feature to create or update an Accounting Entity, which holds company level information including the services in use.

Note: Upon accounting entity activation, the required details that were specified for the company information (except for ERP version) and the services added can no longer be modified.
Accounting Entity Maintenance allows you to:
  • Set up new accounting entities
  • Maintain company details
  • Maintain company Contact Identification and Classification
  • Maintain reporting entities, where applicable
  • Select services for the accounting entity / country.
  • Set your accounting entity to ACTIVE after the base data (Financial Calendar and Accounting Chart) are created. The active status allows transactional BODs to be processed in LSP.
