Setting up the no detection and error notification workflows

These workflows are used to communicate problems in processing:
Workflow Description
NoDetection If none of the detection criteria is met, then the No detection node is triggered and an Infor Ming.le message is sent to the system administrator through a pulse notification BOD. The message can also be forwarded as an email, if required.
ErrorNotification Before the transformation of the BOD data can occur, the BOD data is validated to ensure that they are complete and accurate. If errors exist, they are batched up and an Infor Ming.le message is sent to the system administrator or appropriate user.
Each workflow can be configured to send the notification to the correct person or people, who can correct the problem. You must perform these steps:
  1. Locate the relevant workflow.
    • For no detection workflow, locate LCL_NoDetection_<BODnoun>.
    • For error notification workflow, locate LCL_ErrorNotification_<BODnoun>.
  2. In the Distribution field, specify the user or group of people in your organization who should receive this information.

The distribution list of notifications can be set up based on accounting entity and location from the BOD. Therefore, there can be a different distribution depending on the accounting entity or the location, or both.

To configure the distribution list, on the Distribution tab, select the Advanced option. You can select AccountingEntityID or LocationID as conditions for the distribution.
