Connectivity Inquiry

Connectivity inquiry is a tenant-level logs of all the activities created when using connectivity within LSP except for stand-alone and third-party connector. This is accessed by selecting Connectivity Inquiry in the Admin Settings then clicking Launch.

In the main page, a list of documents and its corresponding log details are shown when clicking on these windows:
  • Error Log - Displays the rejection / warning messages of the government web service.
  • HTTP Details - Displays the request (top left pane grid) and the response (bottom grid) of the web service.
  • IDO Method Log - Displays the methods that the message has gone through. This is only applicable to services that are already using ION API tax connector - version 2 and supports IDO method logging. See the Country configurations to find the version your service is using.
Note: For an incomplete transmission (one of the methods has '0' in Is Completed column), you can resubmit the message thru Connector Recoverability.

If you cannot find any of the details on the three windows, it could mean that the message you are inquiring used a different connector other than ION API and Web Services Gateway, or the ION API setup is not set up correctly, or have not yet reached the connectivity.

The differences between connectivity within LSP and through LSP Direct are highlighted in this table:

Field Name LSP connectivity LSP Direct
Document Status ALL except Success, Fail, or Warn Success, Fail, or Warn only
Service Name blank
File Name blank
File Extension depends on the BOD received
Error Log depends on the connectivity used in .json format

if the message is in GZIP, it would be in special characters

Note: Warn (Success with warning) = a mixture of Success and Failure.
