Assigning users to a subscription

Before you assign a user to a subscription, ensure that this requirement is met:

  • You have an existing subscriber created via sending Accounting Entity BOD or manually added in LSP.
  1. In the accordion, click Settings > Service and Admin Settings.
  2. Select Update Subscription in the Admin settings and click Launch.
  3. In the Update Subscription Maintenance window, specify the Accounting Entity ID. Click Update.
  4. On User Subscription, you can add another user and assign user to a subscription.
    If you are connected to Ming.le, use Ming.le to add users by assigning them the appropriate LSP groups. See User groups.
  5. If you are not using Ming.le, you must add a new user. Specify this information:
    User ID
    Specify the ID of the user. The ID should be alphanumeric, with no special characters.
    User Name
    Provide a short description of the user, for example, the user's name, role, or designation.
    Password
    Optionally, specify a password for this user account. A combination of letters, numbers, and special characters is recommended.
    Email
    Specify the email address of the user.
    User/Group Name
    Specify the role of the user.
  6. To assign a new user to a subscription, specify this information:
    Subscription Name
    Specify the subscription name.
    User ID
    Specify the user ID. For Ming.le users, specify the email address.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Finish.
    Note: You need to refresh your browser for the subscription to display on the main page.
Repeat steps 3-6 to add more services to a subscriber.
