Potential Stock Shortages

The Potential Stock Shortages widget enables the user to view the possible shortage of stock for the specific items that are listed in a warehouse, site or company.

Initially, the data displayed on the widget are based on the warehouse defaulted in the Warehousing User Profiles (whwmd1140s000) session in Infor LN. If no default warehouse is available, the widget must be configured. You can use the Configure Widget screen to modify the settings.

By default, the details of the stock from a warehouse is displayed. However, you can configure the widget to display the data for only one or all the warehouses within a site or company. You can select Refresh Data on the Menu (configure ) to refresh and synchronize data from Infor LN.

On the widget header, you can:
  • Search an item using the Item ID and Item description.
  • Click on the description of the Warehouse to view the widget configuration.
  • Click Drop down to sort the list. Possible values:
    • Alphabetical
    • On Hand
    • ABC Code
    Note: You can click the option again to reverse the sequence of display.

The Potential Stock Shortage widget displays the list of items. In the list each record displays the Item Code, Item Description, and unit of measure. An alert Alerticon is displayed to indicate item shortage for the specified period. While scrolling, the new set of existing records are reterived from Infor LN and displayed on the widget.

You must click the record to view the item inventory details in a window.

On the header you can view the code and description of the item. You can use these options:

previous record: View the previous item record.

next record: View the next item record.

drill back : Drill back to the Infor LN session.

close icon : Close the window. The application displays the widget.

You can view the current stock on hand, Warehouse description, Site description. The bar chart is displayed based on data retrieved from the Planned Inventory Transactions (whinp1500m000) session in Infor LN The numbers of bar graphs are displayed based on the value set in the Period field. You can rest the pointer on the bar graph to view the inventory details of the item.

Blue: Indicates the Adequate Stock

Red: Indicates the Shortage
