Potential Stock Shortages

The Potential Stock Shortages widget enables the user to view the possible shortage of stock for the specific items that are listed in a warehouse, site or company.

Initially, the data displayed on the widget are based on the warehouse defaulted in the Warehousing User Profiles (whwmd1140s000) session in Infor LN. If no default warehouse is available, the widget must be configured.

By default, the details of the stock from a warehouse is displayed. However, you can configure the widget to display the data for only one or all the warehouses within a site or company.

On the header, you can view the name of the warehouse or site or Company as specified on the Configure Widget screen.

Click Drop Down to sort the list. Possible values:
  • Alphabetical
  • On Hand
  • ABC Code
Note: You can click the option again to reverse the sequence of display.

Click Refresh icon to refresh and synchronize the data from Infor LN.

You can use the search bar to search for an item.

The Potential Stock Shortage widget displays the list of items. On each row, you can view information related to the item, warehouse code and site code. An alert Alerticon is displayed to indicate item shortage for the specified period. While scrolling, the new set of existing records are reterived from Infor LN and displayed on the widget.

You must click on an item to view the graphical representation of item inventory. The data is retrieved from the Planned Inventory Transactions (whinp1500m000) session in Infor LN and displayed as On Hand, On Order and Allocated on the bar chart. The numbers of bar graphs are displayed based on the value set in the Period field.

These stock level are indicated with colors in the Legend:
  • Adequate stock: Indicated in Blue color
  • Shortage: Indicated in Red color
Click Drill Back to drillback to the LN session based on the widget configuration. Possible sessions:
  • Warehouse - Item Inventory Ownership (whwmd2615m000): For specific warehouse
  • Site – Item Inventory (whwmd4504m100): For all warehouses in the company with active site
  • Company – Item Inventory (whwmd4100m100): For all warehouses and all sites
