Inventory Aging

The Inventory Aging widget enables the user to view the age of inventoried items for the duration of days or weeks or months.

The widget lists all the items available in a warehouse or site or a company. You must select an item to view the aging period of the item. The age of the item is pictorially represented as a bar chart.

The widget retrieves and displays the data based on the Warehouse which is defaulted in the Warehousing User Profiles (whwmd1140s000) session in Infor LN. You must configure the widget if default Warehouse is not available. See Configuring the Inventory Aging widget

On the header, you can view the name of the warehouse or site or Company as specified on the Configure Widget screen.

You can click Dropdown to sort the list. The available options:
  • Total Aged Quantity: Displays item in sequential order of the aged quantity.
  • Alphabetical: Displays in alphabetical order of the item code.
Note: You must click the option again to reverse the order of display.

You can click Refresh to refresh and synchronize the data from Infor LN.

The search bar is used to search an item with the Item ID or Item description.

The details of the items are retrieved from the Inventory Receipt Transactions (whina1512m000) session in Infor LN. The list of items displayed in the widget is based on the Reference Date, Minimum Storage Time without Consumption, Period and Number of {Period} fields which are configured on the Configure Widget screen.

While scrolling, the new set of existing records are retrieved from Infor LN and displayed on the widget.

On each row, you can view details related to items such as item code, description and total aged quantity. You must click on an item to review the aging details of the item in a bar chart.

The aging period of items are indicated with colors in the Legend section:
  • Aged On Hand: The aged stock is indicated in Red color
  • On Hand: The available quantity is indicated in Blue color

The Red bars indicate the total quantity of items that are in stock for a duration which is more than the value specified in the Minimum Storage Time without Consumption field. These items are Aged as the items are in hand (stock) for a long period without consumption. The Blue bars indicate the quantity of items that are in stock within the value specified in the Minimum Storage Time without Consumption field.
