Synchronizer: use of Microsoft Graph API to access Exchange Online

Note: This change applies to organizations that use LN Synchronizer to access Exchange Online.

As an alternative to Microsoft Exchange Web Services (EWS), the Exchange Synchronizer for contacts and calendar events now supports Microsoft Graph APIs.

Microsoft has announced that starting in October 2026, it will block EWS requests from non-Microsoft apps to Exchange Online. For more information, search the web for "Retirement of Exchange Web Services in Exchange Online."

Note: For customers planning to update from EWS to Microsoft Graph, it is strongly recommended to follow the migration steps described in the LN UI Administration Guide. Failure to follow these steps may result in errors in existing contacts and calendar events.
