Obtaining the certificate file of an HTTPS URL
To obtain the certificate file of an HTTPS URL, use the browser. For example, complete these steps when you use the Google Chrome browser:
- In the upper right corner of the Chrome window, click and select .
- Click the Security tab and click .
- Click the Details tab and click . Then click .
- Select Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER) and click .
- Click to select a directory and a file name. Then click .
- Click and to complete the certificate export wizard.
