Infor GenAI

Infor GenAI is the generative AI platform of Infor OS. It uses large language models (LLMs) to enable Infor applications and third-party applications to incorporate generative AI capabilities into business processes and user experiences. Infor GenAI supports capabilities such as text generation, summarization, translation, contextualization, knowledge retrieval, and conversational interactions. By integrating AI-driven assistance into everyday tasks, organizations can improve productivity, streamline information access, and reduce manual effort across business applications.

Infor GenAI includes these components:

GenAI Embedded Experience: GenAI Embedded Experience enables applications to integrate generative AI capabilities directly within business processes and user interfaces. Organizations can use GenAI-powered features such as content generation, summarization, extraction, translation, and contextual assistance without leaving the application in which they are working. Embedded experiences use GenAI platform services and APIs to bring AI functionality into CloudSuite applications and custom solutions.
GenAI Assistant: GenAI Assistant is a conversational interface powered by large language models (LLMs) that enables users to interact with the business information using the natural language. The assistant provides contextual responses, retrieves information from connected systems and knowledge sources, and serves as the central access point for GenAI capabilities such as Knowledge Hub and Industry AI Agents.
GenAI Factory: GenAI Factory is a framework for building, testing, managing, and governing GenAI tools and agents. It provides administrators and application teams with the ability to create, configure, enable, and maintain AI capabilities that support business processes and user interactions. GenAI Factory manages the tools and agents used by the GenAI Assistant, enabling organizations to tailor AI functionality to specific business requirements while maintaining centralized administration and control.
Public Knowledge Hub: Public Knowledge Hub enables users to retrieve information from publicly available Infor documentation sources through natural language interactions with the GenAI Assistant. Supported content includes product documentation, user guides, and public knowledge resources published by Infor. Public Knowledge Hub uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology to locate relevant information from indexed content and provide contextual responses, helping users quickly find answers to product and application questions without manually searching documentation.
Private Knowledge Hub: Private Knowledge Hub enables users to retrieve information from customer-specific documents stored in Infor Document Management (IDM) through natural language conversations. Documents are indexed and made available to the GenAI Assistant, allowing users to ask questions and receive answers based on content from their organization’s document repository. Private Knowledge Hub uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology to locate relevant information and generate responses, helping users access information more efficiently without manually searching large collections of documents.
Industry AI Agents: Industry AI Agents are AI-powered capabilities that help users retrieve information, perform tasks, and interact with business data through natural language conversations. Agents coordinate one or more tools to address specific business scenarios, roles, or processes. When a user submits a request, the GenAI platform determines the appropriate agent and tools to use, retrieves the necessary information through application APIs, and returns a response. Industry AI Agents help streamline access to business information and support task completion through a conversational interface integrated with Infor CloudSuite applications.

Infor GenAI is used throughout Velocity Suite to support AI-powered experiences, knowledge retrieval, process assistance, document intelligence, conversational interactions, and industry-specific automation scenarios. GenAI capabilities are leveraged by many Value+ solutions and other Velocity Suite components to improve productivity, accelerate information access, and enhance user experiences.
