Filters

Each dashboard is delivered with a set of filters that enables you to drill into the data presented in the various reports on the dashboard. Filters based on conformed dimensions are shared across dashboards.

These generic comments apply to filters:

• If applicable for the dashboard, Company and Financial Company are at the top of the filter list.
• Company. Default is the company in the LN user data. If the LN Analytics user is not an LN user, all companies are shown.
• Financial Company. No default is set. The filter is offered in logistic dashboards and can be used to prevent aggregation of amounts in multiple currencies.
• Cut-off. Used for top/bottom reports. Default is 5.
• Top Bottom. Used for top/bottom reports. Default is Top Count.
• Top N Records. Choice of All, 10, 50, 100, 500, 1000. Default is 100. Can be used to specify the number of records loaded into the report. The summary bar always shows the total of all records.
• If applicable for the dashboard, Currency Type, Currencies, Unit Type, and Units are last in the filter list.
• No filters are offered for Local Currency, Reporting Currency 1, Reporting Currency 2, Reference Currency, Data Warehouse Currency. Ensure that you select companies that use the same currency across all companies for the currency type. The default currency type is the reference currency. If all companies use the same reference currency, you can select any company (single or multiple) without risking the aggregation of amounts in different currencies.
• No filters are offered for the base units. Base units must be the same across companies.
