Moving Average Unit Hours (MAUH)

The Moving Average Unit Hours (MAUH) are based on the actual production hours of an item.

Similar to MAUC, the MAUH is the average hours value for each unit of the current inventory and is calculated based on the same formula.

Inventory value and inventory hours are based on actual receipt prices and actual hours. When issued, goods are valued against the average value (MAUC) and the average hours (MAUH).

The MAUH is calculated by item and warehouse or by item/warehouse valuation group. This depends on the setting of the Valuation by Warehouse Valuation Group check box in the Item Data by Warehouse (whwmd2110s000) session.

Example MAUC MAUH
Receipt 1 10 pcs against $50 and 5 hours $5 0.5
Receipt 2 10 pcs against $60 and 10 hours $5.5 0.75
Issue 1 15 pcs against 15*$5.5 = $82.5 and 15*0.75 = 11.25 hours
Remaining value/hours 5*$5.5 = $27.5 and 5*0.75 = 3.75 hours
