Handling inventory inspections

  1. In the Generate Inventory Inspections (whinh2211m000) session, generate inventory inspections. Alternatively, click New in the appropriate menu of the Warehouse Inventory Inspections Overview (whinh3122m200) session to manually create an ad hoc inspection and New in the appropriate menu of the Warehouse Inventory Inspection (whinh3622m2000) session to create an inspection line.
  2. In the Warehouse Inventory Inspections Overview (whinh3122m200) session, double-click an inspection.
  3. In the Warehouse Inventory Inspection (whinh3622m2000) session, double-click an inspection line.
  4. In the Inventory Inspection Lines (whinh2131m200) session, specify the stock point details of the items to be inspected.
  5. Specify the quantity of the items to be inspected.
  6. Specify the inspection results and the quantities as needed.
  7. On the appropriate menu of the Warehouse Inventory Inspection (whinh3622m200) session, select Process.

Alternative procedures

On the appropriate menu of the Warehouse Inventory Inspections Overview (whinh3122m200) session, you can approve, reject, or process multiple inspections at once.

On the appropriate menu of the Warehouse Inventory Inspection (whinh3622m200) session, you can approve, reject, or process the entire inspection.

On the appropriate menu menu of the Inventory Inspection Lines (whinh2131m200) session, you can approve or reject the entire inspection line.

Before processing, you can save the inspection if processing the inspection at a later stage is preferred.

You are not required to specify the inspection results of the entire quantity to be inspected at once. You can save the inspection line, close the session, and complete the inspection at a later stage. To complete the inspection line, you can use the options on the appropriate menu to approve or reject the remaining quantities.

Partial inspections

You can process an inspection before specifying inspection results for the entire quantity to be inspected. A new inspection is generated for the quantity still to be inspected. This inspection has the same ID, but the sequence number is increased by 1.
