Service

Excellent service is important to businesses that want to retain their customers' confidence. A good information system can be an advantage in offering such service.

Use the Service package to manage the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of field-based and plant-based products, equipment and systems. Service and maintenance can be provided for many products such as computer equipment, medical equipment, climate control equipment, and automotive products.

You can use Service to record for which customers and at which locations specific configurations are situated. You can link an item breakdown to each configuration. Such data helps you to analyze the causes of malfunctions in the fastest possible way.

You can also create service contracts and warranties for each customer. In case of malfunctions, calls can be recorded quickly and effectively. Based on periodic maintenance obligations as well as calls, a maintenance planning can be defined and from this maintenance plan you can create service orders (SOs). Finally, these service orders can be invoiced and a detailed service (order) history can be built up.

Service can be used as a stand-alone package, while it can also be integrated with modules from other LN packages.
