Shop maintenance/Depot repair

The shop maintenance control and depot repair solution in Service comprises the following modules:

  • Activity Management

    The Activity Management module is used to support work preparation.

    In this module you can:

    • Specify predefined maintenance activities.
    • Specify maintenance routings.
    • Predefine the default data on which maintenance must be carried out.
    • Specify the required material, tools, and other resources for the maintenance activities.
    • Specify predefined measurements.
    • Specify the master routing and the routing options.
    • Define item-specific routings, or generic routings (not related to an item).
  • Maintenance Sales Control

    In this module you can:

    • Specify the sales terms that you agreed upon with your sold-to business partners.
    • Logistically control the receipt, delivery, and replacement of customer-owned items that must be repaired in your shop or depot.
    • Specify pricing details, such as fixed price, actual costing, and repair warranty.
    • Handle costing and invoicing.
    • Handle loaners.
    • Handle the sale of spare parts.
  • Work Control System

    In the Work Control System module work order preparation, planning, and execution within a maintenance shop or repair shop is handled. The WCS module can be used for internal maintenance and for maintenance on business partner-owned parts. For maintenance on business partner-owned parts WCS is fully integrated with the Maintenance Sales Control module.

    In the Work Control System module you can:

    • Relate activities to work orders.
    • Specifiy required material resources, tools resources, and other resources.
    • Register completed activities.
    • Handle finance aspects.
    • Handle subcontracting.
    • Plan work orders.
