Calculate Capacity Allocations (tsspc4200m000)

Use this session to generate the territory plan for the specified territory planning id.

Field Information

Territory Planning

The unique ID of the territory planning.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Calculation

The method to calculate capacity allocations.

This field can have the following values:

  • Crow Based, Travel Time Crow Based If this check box is selected, LN calculates allocation based on as the crow flies. At the end of the allocation the distances and travel times are also calculated from the center of gravity (and/or location of engineer) as the crow flies.
  • Crow Based, Travel Time Road Based If this check box is selected, LN calculates allocation based on as the crow flies. At the end of the allocation the distances and travel times are calculated again with the use of a web service that is selected in the Service Planning Parameters (tsspc0100m000) session.
  • Road Based, Travel Time Road Based If this check box is selected, LN uses web service for the travel time calculation. This option is only allowed if all the available capacities are using a fixed reference point.
Recalculate Capacity from Calendar for Employees

If this check box is selected, and available capacities are present within the territory planning which have their total capacity calculated based on a calendar. Then LN recalculates the available total capacity for those available capacities.

Territory Boundary Optimization

If this check box is selected, LN swaps assigned serialized items from one engineer to another to optimize the allocation process. For example, if the capacity of a resource is utilized and there are many serialized items close to the territory of that resource which still need to be assigned.

Assign Serialized Items without Visits

If this check box is selected, LN assigns the resource who is nearest to the location of the serialized items without any visits.

Error Report

If this check box is selected, LN generates error report. This report contains details of errors that occur during the calculate capacity allocations process.

Warning Report

If this check box is selected, LN generates warning report. This report contains details of warnings that occur during the calculate capacity allocations process.

Assigned Report

If this check box is selected, LN generates a report of all serialized items which are assigned to a resource.

Assigned Report (by Resource)

If this check box is selected, LN generates a report of all serialized items which are assigned to a resource in an order (by resource).

Not Assigned Report

If this check box is selected, LN generates a report of all serialized items which are not assigned to a resource.

Create XML Output

If this check box is selected, LN saves the results of the calculated capacity allocation in a XML file, if the calculation is successful.

Export Location

The location to save the XML file.

Export Directory

The directory in which the XML file must be saved.

Note: This field is enabled only if Export Location is set to Local System.
Export File Name

The name of the XML file.

Note: This field is enabled only if Export Location is set to Local System.
Create Log File

If this check box is selected, LN creates a log file for the total number of assigned serialized items, together with the total travel time in group planning.

Export Location

The location to save the log file.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Create Log File check box is selected. By default this field is set to Not Applicable.

Allowed values

Local System
  • If this option is selected and the HTML5 client is not used; the log file is created in the user's system. You can select the directory to save the file.
  • If this option is selected and the HTML5 client is used, you cannot access the directory structure, because in a HTML5 environment, the files are automatically downloaded to the download folder. However, the user is prompted to confirm the download. LN generates the file name that includes time stamp, user name and originating session code.
Server

If this option is selected and the Multi-tenant cloud environment is used, you can only access the directory on the server which is the $BSE\Appdata directory. You must provide a subdirectory name and LN checks if the subdirectory exists.

If this option is selected and the Multi-tenant cloud environment is not used, the operating system can be either:

  • Unix : If LN is running on a Unix server, to save the file, LN first considers the home directory of the user who accesses the tsspc4200m000 session. If the home directory is not available, LN considers the bse.tmp.dir$(), which is the $BSE/tmp directory. LN considers this directory as the full path or as a relative path to save the file.
  • Windows: If LN is running on a windows server, the home directory is not available and LN considers the bse.tmp.dir$(), which is the $BSE/tmp directory. LN considers this directory as the full path or as a relative path to save the file.
Not Applicable
Export Directory

The directory in which the log file must be saved.

Note: This field is enabled only if the value in the Export Location field is set to Server. If the HTML5 client is not used, the log file is created in the user's system. You can select the directory to save the file.
Directory

The full path of the location of the directory, where the files are saved.

Export File Name

The name of the log file.

Note: This field is enabled only if the value in the Export Location field is set to Server. If the HTML5 client is not used; the log file is created in the users' system. You can select the directory to save the file.
