Transfer Planned Activities to Field Service (tsspc2220m000)

Use this session to generate service orders from the planned activities.

Field Information

Selection Range

Use the fields in the Selection Range group box to specify the range of planned activities for which the service orders must be generated.

The option to select the maintenance scenarios.

If this check box is selected, the planned activities with the Activity Use field set to Field Service are included in the selection.

If this check box is selected, the planned activities with the Activity Use field set to General are included in the selection.

Check ATP Inventory

If this check box is selected, the ATP check is performed to determine the available inventory.

Skip Blocked Inventory

If this check box is selected, the blocked quantity is subtracted from the On Hand quantity during the Planned Inventory check and the On Hand Inventory check.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Check Planned Inventory or the Check On Hand Inventory check box is selected.
Check Planned Inventory

If this check box is selected, the planned inventory check is performed to determine the available inventory.

Block Releasing of Orders with Shortages

If this check box is selected, the orders with insufficient inventory are not processed.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Check Planned Inventory or the Check On Hand Inventory check box is selected.
Check On Hand Inventory

If this check box is selected, the on hand inventory check is performed to determine the available inventory.

Scope of Inventory Check

The scope to check the material is availability.

Allowed values

All Warehouses in Planning Cluster

Checks if the material is available in the warehouse defined on the Material Line.

Current Warehouse Only

Checks if the material is available in one of the warehouses in the same cluster as the warehouse defined on the Material Line.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Check Planned Inventory or the Check On Hand Inventory check box is selected.
Update Activities with Latest Planned Material Line

If this check box is selected, the material availability data of the latest planned material line is updated on the related planned activities.

Group Activities

If this check box is selected, all the planned activities having the same planned start time, sold-to-BP of the serialized item and the same contract are grouped into one service order.

You must select this check box to group more than one planned activity into a single service order.

Grouping can be done only if all the activities belong to the same sold-to business partner,, same planned start time and same contract.

Following are the possible options :

  • With existing service orders
  • Exclude emergency orders
  • By Item
  • By Activity group
  • By Location
  • Difference in Start Time
  • Use parallel planning

If this check box is cleared, all the above options are not available.

With Existing Service Orders

If this check box is selected, the activities are not grouped initially. When you transfer each activity to the service order, it is grouped under the same service order based on the following conditions:

  • Department
  • Business partner
  • Service contract
  • Planned start time, and so on.
Exclude Emergency Orders

Select the checkbox to transfer the activity to a normal existing service order. Based on certain conditions you can exclude the emergency service orders when you select the existing service order.

Note: You must select the With Existing Service Orders checkbox to enable this field.
By Installation Group

If this check box is selected, all the planned activities having the same installation group are grouped into one service order. A service order is generated with the installation group on the order header. The order lines are generated with the applicable activities and installations.

By Item

If this check box is selected, all the planned activities having the same item, same sold-to-BP of the serialized item, same contract and the same planned start time are grouped into one service order.

By Serial Number

If this check box is selected, all the planned activities having the same item, same serial number, same sold-to-BP of the serialized item, same contract and the same planned start time are grouped into one service order.

By Activity Group

If this check box is selected, all the planned activities having the same reference activity group, same sold-to-BP of the serialized item, same contract and the same planned start time are grouped into one service order.

By Location Address

If this check box is selected, all the planned activities having the same planned start time, same sold-to-BP of the serialized item, same contract and the same location (either of the Installation group or of the serialized item) are grouped into one service order.

By Planned Start Times within Span of

If this check box is selected, for every planned activity the remaining planned activities are checked to see if they fall within the time difference mentioned and are grouped accordingly with the first planned activity.

Difference in Planned Start Time of

The time period in which the planned activities are checked.

Time Duration Unit

The unit in which the time period is expressed.

Travel Time

When you group multiple planned orders into a single service order, you must ensure that the travel time mentioned in the planned activity is also used effectively.

This field can have the following values

  • Minimum:The minimum travel time of the planned activities that are grouped into a service order. When you group with an existing service order then the travel time is the minimum of the planned activity and that of the service order.
  • Maximum:The maximum travel time of the planned activities that are grouped into a service order. When you group with an existing service order then the travel time is the minimum of the planned activity and that of the service order.
  • Cumulative: Service order time is the cumulative of travel time of all the planned activities grouped into a service order. When you group with an existing service order then the travel time is the cumulative of the planned activity and that of the service order.

For example: Three planned activities have the travel time as 2,3 and 4 hours. When you group these three planned activities into a service order , if the travel time option is minimum then the service order travel time is 2 hours. If the travel time option is maximum then the service order travel time is 4 hours. If the travel time option is cumulative then the service order travel time is 9 hours.

Simulate

If this check box is selected, actual transfer actions are not executed.

Recalculate Planned Times

If this check box is selected, the application recalculates the planned time for the planned activities.

Service Order Series Number

The series of the service orders to which the maintenance planning is transferred.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Process Report

Generates the Process report.

Error Report

Generates the Error report.
