Installations (tsbsc1110m100)

Use this session to list and maintain all installations.

Example

A machine consists of two engines (configurations), each of which has the code CF6, and the machine belongs to your business partner MACH Industries (MACHI). The name of this Installation group is CF6 machine MACHI. The code of the first engine (configuration) can be CF6/101, and the code of the second engine (configuration) CF6/102.

Note: You can use the Sort by command on the View menu to choose the way you want to display the Installation group data.

On the appropriate menu, you can choose:

  • Create Physical Breakdown - Enables you to generate a physical breakdown structure from one of the following:
  • Physical Breakdown- Enables you to view or maintain the multilevel or single-level parent-child relations between serialized items that form a physical breakdown. A physical breakdown is defined for a configuration, which enables you to view the configuration's built-up structure and as-maintained structure.
  • Item Breakdown- Enables you to view or maintain the parent-child relations between items that form an item breakdown.
  • Item Details- Starts the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session.
  • Activate Installations- Starts the Activate Installations (tscfg2210m500) session, which enables you to switch the status of multiple configurations to Active in one run.

Field Information

Installation Group

The installation group to which the configuration is linked.

Description

The description or name of the installation group.

Line

The number identifying the configuration.

Item

The item(s) you select to make up the configuration.

Two possibilities:

  • One serialized item. The configuration then consists of the serialized item, and the items in its physical breakdown. In this case, the value of the Number of Items field will be one and unchangeable.
  • Any quantity of an anonymous item. In this case, you can specify the quantity in the Number of Items field. The configuration consists of the anonymous item(s), and the items in its item breakdown.

If you link a serialized item to this Installation group, enter the item's serial number in this field.

Note: This field is not available if you have entered a quantity greater than the value in the Number of Items field.
Lot

The lot code of the item.

Revision

The revision code of the engineering item

Note: You can define revisions for an item only if the Engineering Revisions Active check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000)
Description

The description or name of the item(s) belonging to the Installation group.

Number of Items

The number of items in this Installation.

Note: This field is not available if you select a serialized item for the configuration (in this case the default value will be one).
Status

The status of the (serialized) item in the Installation group.

Status Start Time

The time when the Status field is set or changed.

Planned Until Time

The time until which maintenance activities are actually planned for the Installation.

Note:
  • The planned until time date must fall within the effective period of this Installation.
  • If the Installation group is linked to an active contract, you cannot modify this time manually before or during the effective period of the contract. However, you can modify the time to a date after the expiry date of the contract.
