Cost Of Sales (COS)

For Service Orders, Maintenance Sales Orders and Work Orders, the corresponding Cost of Sales sessions are available:

• Service Order Actual Resource Line COS (tstdm4102m000)
• Service Order Invoice Line COS (tstdm4104m000)
• Maintenance Sales - Work Order Actual Resource Line COS (tstdm4102m100)
• Work Order Actual Resource Line COS (tstdm4102m200)

COS is present for actual resources and invoice lines. If the actual and invoice quantities are equal, the COS can be copied. Else, the costs are recalculated for the invoice line.

Recalculating prices and discounts for a service order or maintenance sales order retrieves the default price and discounts from the available cost/coverage lines. The new prices and discounts are synchronized with the existing service invoice lines.
