Activity budget overview for Project

You can use the Activity Budget Overview (tpptc2100m000) session to view the complete activity budgeting information of a project. You can also review and maintain the budgeted costs of the project. The session contains several tabs and the data in these tabs is defaulted from the related activity budget sessions.

You can review the consolidated data of the activity budget lines for all the cost types using these sessions:

  • Activity Budget (Material) (tpptc2110m000)
  • Activity Budget (Labor) (tpptc2630m000)
  • Activity Budget (Equipment) (tpptc2112m000)
  • Activity Budget (Subcontracting) (tpptc2113m000)
  • Activity Budget (Sundry cost) (tpptc2114m000)

You can perform these actions using the Activity Budget Overview (tpptc2100m000) session:

  • View all activity budget lines irrespective of the cost type
  • Maintain the activity budget lines (add, modify, and delete)
  • Import and export complete budget data from or to an Excel sheet using the standard Excel integration.
  • Update budget status
  • Update prices and rates in budget
  • Update budget dates
  • Generate control data
  • Delete a budget
Note: 
  • The Activity Budget Overview (tpptc2100m000) session can be accessed only if the Use Activity Budget Overview check box is selected in the Project Budget Parameters (tpptc0100s000) session. Budget overviews for the existing project can be created or updated using the Refresh Current Project option from the Actions menu in the Activity Budget Overview (tpptc2100m000) session.
  • You can use the Refresh Activity Budget Overview (tpptc2200m000) session to refresh or build the budget overview data for more than one project at once.
  • The Has Activity Budget Overview check box is selected in the Project (tppdm6600m400) session indicates if the budget data can be used for the project. For new projects, the check box is automatically selected if the Use Activity Budget Overview check box is selected in the Project Budget Parameters (tpptc0100s000) session.

Creating budget overview

The data in Activity Budget Overview is defaulted from the existing budget lines. However, initially there are no data available in this session. However, you can view the existing activity budget data in the Activity Budget Overview (tpptc2100m000) session using the Refresh Current Project option from the Actions menu
