Generate Purchase Budget

You can generate purchase budget using the Generate Purchase Budgets (tpptc4200m000) session for a specific or a range of:

• Projects
• Elements
• Plans
• Activities
• Extensions
• Cost Components

In this session, you can:

• Select the cost types for which the budget is generated.
• Indicate the actual budget level on which the purchase budget is based.
• Specify a percentage of the actual budget line amount that is included in the purchase budget.

A purchase budget defines a particular demand on a more detailed level than defined in the bottom-up budget. You can also use this to purchase cost objects with a manual order system. A purchase budget line is a set of budget lines selected from the project budget to buy certain cost objects that are required for a project.
