Update Budget Data

You can update the budget data such as purchase prices, cost rates and budget date to meet the changing dynamic project requirements.

You can use the Update Prices and Rates in Budget (tpptc1205m000) session to update the purchase prices or rates and unit cost or rates of actual budgets (element and activity budgets) for a specific or a range of projects. The existing prices and rates are replaced by the latest prices and rates. You can limit the updating of the prices, cost and rates for the actual budget based on these cost types:

• Material
• Labor
• Equipment
• Subcontracting
• Sundry Cost

You can use the Update Budget Dates in Budget (tpptc1250m000) session to update the budget date of bottom-up budgets (element or activity budgets) for a specific or range of projects. Modification of the budget date results in a change of the currency rates and also the prices or rates.

You can use the Update Assignments in Hours Accounting (tpptc2211m000) session to update assignments for a specific or a range of employees, projects, activities, budget line status and relative start dates.
