Archiving and deleting repetitive data

The Repetitive Manufacturing data is registered, tracked, and reviewed in the Operational Company of the logged in user. The data is related to Production Models, Production Schedules, Cost Documents, and Work Cell-OEE.

The volume of the stored data can impact the performance of the application. To minimize or optimize this registered RPT data you can use these options:

  • Delete Only
  • Archive Only
  • Archive and Delete

Apart from this Repetitive Manufacturing data, the related general data must be archived before archiving or deleting the RPT data.

The general data can only be archived (and not deleted) since the data is related to the common Master Data such as the Item, Site, Work Cell/Repair cell, Workstation, and Work Cell Plan Group. This data can be archived using Archive General Data check box in these Archive/Delete RPT sessions:

  • Archive/Delete Production Models (tirpt2200m200)
  • Archive/Delete Production Schedules (tirpt4201m100)
  • Archive/Delete Cost Documents (tirpt7201m200)
  • Archive/Delete Work Cell - OEE (tirpt4240m000)
Note: The Archive Company must exist to use the archiving functionality.

You can use the Archive/Delete RPT sessions even if the Archive Company does not exist and is not linked to the main Operational Company of the logged in user.

The sessions can be accessed in any company if the Repetitive Manufacturing functionality is implemented in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
