Generate Generic Subcontracting Models (tipcf3215m900)

Use this session to create the generic subcontracting model data in the Generic Subcontracting Models (tipcf3115m000)session based on the Generic Bill of Material (tipcf3110m000) session. This is a new subcontracting model of each existing bill of material, for the job shop site of the item. This is applicable for the items with Order Systemfield set to Planned or Manual (non-FAS).

Note: This session can be accessed only if the Configurations by Site parameter is set to In Preparation in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.

The Generate Structure process (as defined in the Generate (Project PCS) Structure for Sales Orders (tdsls4244m000), Generate (Project) Structure for Product Variant (tipcs2220m000)sessions is used to create multiple models, based on the Items - Purchase Business Partner by Site (tdipu0190m000) session.

Production Site
The From and To fields define a range of production sites for which the generic subcontracting models data is generated.
From Product
The From and To fields define a range of products for which the generic subcontracting models are generated.

Allowed values

Job Shop

A bill of material (BOM) and routing are available for the item. The demand is filled by a production order.

Repetitive

A list of materials and a work cell are available for the item. The demand is filled by a production schedule.

Assembly

An assembly bill of material (BOM) and assembly lines are available for the item. The demand is filled by an assembly order.

Purchase

No production data is available for item. The demand is filled by a purchase order.

Subcontract

The item is supplied by subcontracting the production process. A bill of material (BOM) is specified for this item.

Note: The Subcontracting with Material Flow check box must be selected to select this supply source.
Distribution

The item is supplied by a planned distribution order.

Skip Lines Expired Before
The bill of material data prior to this date is not included in the selection range for generating the generic subcontracting models data.
Purchase Lead Times to Include
Internal Processing Time
If this check box is selected, the internal processing time is used to compose the new lead times for the generic subcontracting models.
Supply Time
If this check box is selected, the supply time is used to compose the new lead times for the generic subcontracting models.
Business Partner Safety Time
If this check box is selected, the business-partner safety time is used to compose the new lead times.
Additional Lead Time
If this check box is selected, the additional lead time is used to compose the new lead times.
Options
Create Expired Version
If this check box is selected, the generic subcontracting models data is created for the expired version.
Note: By default, this check box is cleared.
Simulate
If this check box is selected, the subcontracting models data is generated in simulation mode and a preview of the generated data is displayed in the report
Print Process Report
If this check box is selected, the application prints a process report with the generic subcontracting models data that is generated successfully.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Simulate check box is cleared.
