Replace Item in Generic Job Shop BOM (tipcf3212m100)
Use this session to replace the material in the generic job shop bill of material (BOM) line.
Note: This session can be accessed only if the Configurations by Site field is set to or and the Product Configurator (PCF) check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
Field Information
- Replacement Data

- Item to be Replaced
- The code of the item that must be replaced.
- Replacement Item
- The item with which the item must be replaced.
- Check Date
- The date and time on which the item to be replaced is valid for the generic job shop bill of material line.
- Valid From Date
- The date and time which is placed as valid from date on the generic job shop bill of material line on which the replacement item is placed.
- Selection Range

- Site
- The code of the site of the generic job shop bill of material lines for which the material needs to be replaced.
- From Product
- The From and To fields define a range of products of the generic job shop bill of material.
- Actual Versions
- If this check box is selected, the item is replaced for the actual version of the generic job shop bill of material.
- New Versions
- If this check box is selected, the item is replaced for the new version of the generic job shop bill of material.

- Retain Original Item
- If this check box is selected, the original item is retained when replacing the item for the generic job shop bill of material. The valid to date on the generic job shop bill of material line with the item to be replaced is filled with the Valid From Date. A new generic job shop bill of material line with the replacement item is created. For the new generic job shop bill of material line the valid from date is filled with the Valid From Date.
- Use Up Inventory
- If this check box is selected, the current inventory is used up before issuing for the replacement item.
- Retain Valid From Date
- If this check box is selected, the valid from date on the generic job shop bill of material line with the item is retained when replacing the item.
- Retain BOM Warehouse and Scrap
- If this check box is selected, the warehouse of the generic bill of material line and the scrap is also retained when replacing the item for the generic job shop bill of material line.
