Processed Production BOM - Alternative Materials (timfc3161m100)

Use this session to view all the received alternative material lines of the processed production bill of material (PBOM) line that is received from PLM. These lines are processed to the actual production bill of material (BOM).

Note: This session can be accessed only if:
  • The Engineering Revisions check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
  • The Job Shop by Site field is set to Active in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
  • The Originating App field is set to PLM (Internal) or PLM (external) in the Item Base Data Parameters (tcibd9199m000) session.

Field Information

Product
The code of the product associated with the production bill of material received from PLM.
Source Revision
The revision of the production BOM from which the bill of material revision is generated.
Position
The position number of the material line associated with the received production bill of material.
Alternative Position
The position number of the alternative material line.
Alternative Priority

The alternative priority determines which of the alternatives is selected first.

Allowed values

Use up
This is an outdated material (use-up material) that must be used up first.
Original
The standard item is used as the alternative material.

The alternative that is selected if the inventory of the standard material (and the use-up material, if any) is insufficient.

The alternative that is selected if the inventory of the standard material and the first alternative material (and the use-up material, if any) is insufficient.

Lower priority alternative materials.
