Processed Job Shop Bill of Material Line (tibom5615m100)

Use this session to view the details of the processed job shop bill of material (BOM) line that is received from PLM.

Note: This session can be accessed only if:
  • The Engineering Revisions check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
  • The Job Shop by Site check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
  • The Originating App field is set to PLM (Internal) or PLM (external) in the Item Base Data Parameters (tcibd9199m000) session.

Field Information

Site
The code of the site associated with the processed job shop bill of material (BOM).
Product
The code of the product associated with the processed job shop bill of material.
Source Model
The ID of the source bill of material (BOM) from which the job shop bill of material is received.
Source Revision
The revision of the source bill of material that is received.
Position
The position number of the processed job shop bill of material line.
Item
The code of the material that is used for production.
Replaces Item
The material from the previous BOM revision, which is now a use-up material. If the use-up material exists in inventory, that is used instead of the material specified in the Item field.
Bill of Material
The bill of material associated with the processed job shop bill of material.
Revision
The revision number of the processed job shop bill of material.
Status

The status of the job shop bill of material (BOM) model.

Net Quantity
The net quantity of material required to manufacture the selected product.
Unit
The unit in which the net quantity of the material is expressed.
Net Quantity in BOM Unit
The net quantity of material needed to manufacture the selected product expressed in BOM unit.
Note: This field is displayed if the BOM Units on Material Lines check box is selected in the Product Engineering Parameters (timfc0100m000) session.
BOM Unit
The unit in which the net quantity of the material is expressed.
Note: This field is displayed if the BOM Units on Material Lines check box is selected in the Product Engineering Parameters (timfc0100m000) session.
Scrap Percentage
The expected relative material loss, for example due to faulty components. The gross quantity should be increased to compensate for these material losses.
Scrap Quantity
The quantity of material that will be lost during production. The quantity is a fixed quantity that is independent to the quantity produced. Recording a scrap quantity prevents shortages in production.
Note: This field is displayed if the BOM Units on Material Lines check box is selected in the Product Engineering Parameters (timfc0100m000) session.
Scrap Quantity in BOM Unit
The quantity of the material lost in production that is expressed in BOM unit.
Note: This field is displayed if the BOM Units on Material Lines check box is selected in the Product Engineering Parameters (timfc0100m000) session.
Size Unit
The unit of measurement of Length and Width fields.
Length
The length of the material that is used to calculate the net quantity if the inventory unit is Length or area unit. In case of area unit, this field is used in combination with Width.
Note: The Length, Width, Size Unit and Number of Units fields are applicable apply only if the material has length or an area inventory unit, similar to meter and square meter. The inventory unit is defined in the Item (tcibd0501m100) session.
Width
The length of the material that is used to calculate the net quantity if the inventory unit is Width or area unit. In case of area unit, this field is used in combination with Length.
Note: The Length, Width, Size Unit and Number of Units fields are applicable apply only if the material has length or an area inventory unit, similar to meter and square meter. The inventory unit is defined in the Item (tcibd0501m100) session.
Number of Units
The number of times that the required quantity of the material, specified in the Length and/or Width field, appears in the product.
Percentage Required
Indicates the percentage of raw material required to start the operation.
Note: This field is applicable only if the Infor SCM Scheduler check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
Supply
Operation
Indicates the ID of the operation for which the material is required.
Warehouse
The code of the warehouse from which the production materials are delivered.
Lot Selection

The lot selection of the processed job shop bill of material (BOM).

Allowed values

Any

The goods received or shipped are not subject to specific lot conditions. You can use more than one lot.

Same

You can select any lot for receipt or shipment, but the entire receipt or shipment must have the same lot.

Specific

You can receive or ship only one, specific lot.

Customer Furnished Material
If this check box is selected, the specific material is a customer furnished material.
Contains Customer Furnished Material
If this check box is selected, end-item is an item that is built using one or more customer furnished material.
Inherit Demand Peg
Indicates whether the production order associated with the job shop bill of material can have a demand peg.
Note: This field is applicable only if the Project Pegging check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
Supplied by Subcontractor
If this check box is selected, the specified material is supplied by subcontractor.
Phantom
If this check box is selected, the specified material or component is a phantom.
Miscellaneous
Report Material

Indicates the method in which the material is consumed.

Allowed values

Backflush

This is an automatic calculation based on reported quantities.

Manual

Reporting is done by an employee using the Machine Work List (tisfc4600m000) session.

By Machine

Reporting is done via machine operations instead of per operation.

MES

Reporting is done by the integrated Manufacturing Execution System.

By Machine Group

Reporting is done by machine in the Report Operations Completed (tisfc0130m000) session.

Undefined

This applies to Report Machine Hours on converted orders. Reporting is based on the Labor Hours value.

Not Applicable

No reporting is necessary.

Allow Multiple Items
If this check box is selected, LN can distribute the net quantity of the material that is required over multiple items. For example, the net quantity can be divided over the use-up material and the standard material or over the standard material and one or more alternative materials. If this check box is cleared, LN issues only a single item specified in the job shop bill of material for the production order.
Note: This field is applicable only if the Alternative Materials or the Use Up Material check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
Standard Configuration
If this check box is selected, the job shop bill of material line is part of the standard configuration of the product.
Note: This field is applicable only if the Unit Effectivity check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
Print on Order Document
If this check box is selected, the received job shop bill of material components are printed on the order document.
Specify Material Offset
If this check box is selected, you can specify the lead time offset for the material.
Material Offset
The lead-time offset for the availability of the component in days or hours depending on the selected time unit.
Material Offset Unit

The time unit, days or hours, in which the material offset is defined.
