Norm Value

The norm value of the performance indicator obtained from the norm value algorithm and the norm value factor in the Maintain Performance Indicators (tgeis0111m000) session.

Minimum Value

The minimum value of the performance indicator obtained from the minimum value algorithm and the minimum value factor in the Performance Indicators (tgeis0111s000) session.

Maximum Value

The maximum value of the performance indicator obtained from the maximum value algorithm and the maximum value factor in the Performance Indicators (tgeis0111s000) session.

Calculated Value

The actual value of the performance indicator calculated in the Calculate Performance Indicators (tgeis0214m000).

Benchmarking Value

A performance indicator can have a benchmarking value to perform a comparison with the competitor, industry average, and so on.

Adjusted Norm Value

The adjusted norm is the changed norm value of the performance indicator.

Digit Value

Shows the calculated performance indicator value in the Calculated Value field in the PI Data by Period (tgeis0112s000) session. The Ishikawa diagram will show the PI in the colors defined in the:

  • Normal Range Color field in the Enterprise Performance Manager Parameters (tgeis0100s000) session
  • Out of Range Color field in the Enterprise Performance Manager Parameters (tgeis0100s000) session
  • Warning Color field in the Enterprise Performance Manager Parameters (tgeis0100s000) session or with the Enterprise resources as recorded in the Runtime Resources (ttdsk3160m000) session. If the colors are defined in both sessions, the latter session takes priority over the first.
Output File

This stores the calculated performance indicator value in a sequential ASCII text file. Because it concerns a non-numeric value, in the Ishikawa diagram this PI will be displayed in the color defined for the No Data Color field in the Enterprise Performance Manager Parameters (tgeis0100s000) session or among the Enterprise resources in the Runtime Resources (ttdsk3160m000) session. If the colors are defined in both sessions, the latter session takes priority over the first. You can view this file in the PI Data by Period (tgeis0112s000) session by pressing [H] in the choice field and selecting Output File. If you select this value, the fields for norm, minimum, and maximum value (in screen 2) cannot be accessed.

Both types

The calculated PI-value will be displayed in the Calculated Value field in the PI Data by Period (tgeis0112s000) session and saved in an ASCII file. The Ishikawa diagram will show the PI in the colors defined in the:

  • Normal Range Color field in the Enterprise Performance Manager Parameters (tgeis0100s000) session
  • Out of Range Color field in the Enterprise Performance Manager Parameters (tgeis0100s000) session
  • Warning Color field in the Enterprise Performance Manager Parameters (tgeis0100s000) session or with the Enterprise resources as recorded in the Runtime Resources (ttdsk3160m000) session. If the colors are defined in both sessions, the latter session takes priority over the first.
Mult Prev Period Value

The norm value of a period is calculated by multiplying the norm value factor by the norm value of the previous period.

Add to Prev Period Value

The norm value of a period is calculated by adding the norm value factor to the norm value of its previous period.

Multiply Historic Value

The norm value of a period is calculated by multiplying the norm value factor by the norm value of a certain period in the past. LN goes back as many periods as defined by the Number of Periods parameter.

Add to Hostoric Value

The norm value of a period is calculated by adding the norm value factor to the norm value of a certain period in the past. LN goes back as many periods as defined by the Number of Periods parameter.

Multiply Hist. Calc Value

The norm value of a period is calculated by multiplying the norm value factor by the calculated value of a certain period in the past. LN goes back as many periods as defined by the Number of Periods parameter.

Add to Hist. Calc Value

The norm value of a period is calculated by adding the norm value factor to the calculated value of a certain period in the past. LN goes back as many periods as defined via the Number of Periods parameter in the Calendar Codes (tgeis0105m000) session.

Daily Period

length is one day.

Weekly

Period length is one week.

ENtgeis.ptyp.four.week

Period length is four weeks.

Monthly

Period length is one month.

Quarterly

Use (Season)Pattern

Cumulative values are calculated by using the method as specified on the second form of the Performance Indicators (tgeis0111s000) session:

  • By using a seasonal pattern which is entered in the Seasonal Pattern field.
  • OR by using the data entered in the Norm Start Value field, the Norm Value Algorithm field or the Norm Value Factor field, depending on the algorithm which is linked to the performance indicator.

If you enter a seasonal pattern, you cannot enter the other above-mentioned fields and vice-versa.

Use Periodic Data

The cumulative values are calculated based on the periodic values of the Norm Value field, the Minimum Value field, or the Maximum Value field in the PI Data by Period (tgeis0112s000) session.

Above Max./Below Min.

If you select this value, LN warns you if the calculated value is above the maximum value or below the minimum value.

Above Maximum

If you select this value, LN warns you if the calculated value is above the maximum value.

Below Minimum

If you select this value, the out-of-range color will be displayed if the calculated value is below the minimum value.

Never

If you select this value, the performance indicator will never be shown in the out-of-range color.

Menu

If you select this value, you can specify a menu to which you can zoom from the Ishikawa node.

Session

If you select this value, you can specify a session to which you can zoom from the Ishikawa node.

No zoom

Select this value to indicate that no menu or session can be specified.
